Susanna E. Krentz

Susanna E. Krentz is President of Krentz Consulting LLC, a consulting firm focused on assisting healthcare organizations with their business strategy.

Krentz' practice builds on a strong foundation in the fields of consulting and healthcare. Prior to founding her own firm in 2009, she served as the Deputy Director, Health Innovation at Noblis, and as Practice Leader and Executive Vice President for the healthcare consulting firm Jennings, Ryan & Kolb, where she practiced for 18 years. She has also been an associate at Amherst Associates Inc. and a data analyst for the American Hospital Association.

Krentz' expertise includes strategic planning, service line planning, physician needs assessment and alignment, portfolio analysis and feasibility assessments. She is an expert facilitator and works with boards, senior management and physicians. Her clients include multi-hospital systems, community hospitals, children's hospitals, and academic medical centers.

A recipient of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development's Award for Individual Professional Excellence, Krentz is the author or co-author of more than 30 published papers. She has given more than 100 seminars and presentations, speaking in front of such diverse audiences as the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions.

Krentz is a member of the Board of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. She received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and attended Yale University as an undergraduate.
