Scott Adler

Scott Adler is a founding Principal with Insight Strategies, LLC. He works with the nation's leading hospitals, health systems and physician organizations, guiding them to make great strategic decisions and achieve operational excellence. His successful redesign and change methodology has helped dozens of hospitals achieve market-leading performance in their Emergency Departments. He works with Boards of Directors and Executive Management Teams on organization strategy and design in order to position them for success in the emerging healthcare environment.

Over his 25 years in healthcare leadership, Scott has managed clinical and healthcare retail operations and developed strategic partnerships between health care organizations, schools, churches, municipalities and businesses. In addition to marketing and business development, Scott and has extensive process redesign training and experience. He has published articles on his work in relationship marketing, community development and health status improvement as well as a book chapter on quality and customer service. He co-wrote and produced the PBS documentary, "Living With Cancer: The Windstorms of Life."

Scott is a regularly featured speaker at national conferences. He was a 1994-95 Fellow with The Healthcare Forum and he participated in the Health Care Colloquium at Harvard University. He is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Detroit-Mercy and was a Diplomat in the American College of Health Care Executives. He was the first elected chair of the internationally recognized and award-winning initiative Creating a Healthier Macomb.
